YOU’RE INVITED TO EXPLORE - THE LAYERS OF YOU
In Vedic philosophy, and most beautifully in the Taittiriya Upanishad, we are described as beings composed of five luminous layers. These layers are known as the koshas, or “sheaths.”
Taken as a whole, the koshas reveal the many facets of our human nature. They invite us to explore the full spectrum of who we are and what we may yet become. Through them, we see how the different levels of our being shape the uniqueness of our personality, even as they veil the radiant light of consciousness that shines beneath
Together, they offer us a subtle cartography of our existence, beginning with the tangible physical body we know so well, and then gently unfolding into ever more refined dimensions of awareness and experience.

Across three spacious hours, we’ll move through the 5 Koshas, bringing structure and support to the physical body with Katonah Yoga, while gentle Kundalini bodywork opens space for tension to melt and subtle energy to flow.
You'll learn an Ayurvedic Self Care Ritual, where you’ll craft your own Kizhi (herbal bolus) and learn Abhyanga with it; The rhythmic massage techniques to warm the tissues, encourage lymphatic movement, and soothe the nervous system.
As we travel through the physical, energetic, mental–emotional, intuitive, and bliss bodies, we’ll explore the koshas not just as layers, but as a living, integrated system, a lens to sense the interplay of purusha (pure consciousness) and prakriti (manifest nature) within you. Drawing from the Taittiriya Upanishad, we’ll weave lecture, experiential practice, and reflection into a single, flowing experience.
We’ll close out our day in Vedic Meditation, to allow the body and mind to gently nestle, folding the day’s movement and insight into quiet integration.
This is a steady, earthy reset for women & men, who hold much, give much, and are ready to return to their own vessel with care.
